Who Are You Online?

Recently I have been studying, and thinking, a lot about our identities online. The voices we have and how we control them. I have also been thinking about how they change through different situations, different audiences and even different days.

Another student, and friend of mine, Katie Suffolk sums this up in a way I really enjoyed reading, she discusses her online persona's and describes how they change depending on websites and is very open and honest with herself in this way.

You can read her views on this here:

And if you do nothing else tonight take a quick look at all your online accounts whether that is Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, a blog you keep or all of the above and be honest with yourself if they are manipulated to enhance yourself, do they change according to platform and audience and are they true to the person you are in real life?
